Sega Gaming Orders Branded Casino Games

Sega Gaming, a well respected video gaming company from Japan, has purchased a set of
branded online casino games from CTXM, a Latvia-based casino game developer. They
are already using the Playtech casino platform with the full suite of casino games
that come as standard for any new licensee of the Playtech brand of casino games.
Casino News Authority was the first to report that Sega Games had launched their
own online casino and poker room in 2009. Now, they are aggressively developing
unique games that are based around the many characters in their video games.
Some of the branded games have already been developed by Playtech, but they’ve
decided to branch out to other casino game developers for their new games.
Their will be many traditional games as well as branded video slots. One of the
video slots will be “House of the Dead” which is based on a video game that was
later made into a movie. Udy Yosha, CEO of CTXM, said: “We are very proud to work
with the founders of the gaming industry. Being a game developer ourselves, we
believe that together with SEGA Games’ unique IP, we will be able to add another
dimension to their online games. We feel privileged to cooperate with SEGA Games.”
It is expected that many other video game developers will enter the online
gambling market once it’s regulated within the United States. Sega Games has
entered the market early in order to get a strong footing in place once the
US market is regulated and other developers begin to enter the market with
their own brand of casino games. Sega Games does not accept US players
and the Playtech casino software is not available for players in the US.
