RTG Online Casinos Offer Redesigned Video Slot

Real Time Gaming introduced the “Happy Golden Ox of Happiness” video slot in January to celebrate the Chinese New Year. This video slot hasn’t been very popular among players at the various RTG online casinos, and it’s not much of a surprise with such an odd sounding name.



RTG just released a new video slot, “Year of Fortune” and its almost identical to the “Happy Golden Ox of Happiness” video slot, but with a much easier name to remember. Similarities include the Ox as the wild symbol and the Year of the Ox logo as the scatter symbol in both games. Many of the symbols are the same or just slightly altered. In both games, the scatter symbols activate 8 free spins, but the free spin features are different.



Their are other similarities, but it’s obvious that the first version wasn’t very popular, so RTG decided to redesign the game slightly to better appeal to their players. The new version is much better looking, and seems to offer more opportunities for players to win.



This may be the beginning of a redesign of multiple games within the RTG casino platform. Their are only so many different themes for slot machines, and then it becomes time to redesign existing themes that aren’t converting as well with players.
