Poker Players Plan To Protest The UIGEA

The UIGEA is scheduled to be implemented on June 1st by the US Department of the Treasury. Their have been attempts to derail the implementation of this new law, but all efforts have failed.
The online poker community has decided to take a stand against the UIGEA by scheduling a unique protest on June 1st. Poker forums have been discussing ways to show their disapproval of the UIGEA. It looks as if online poker players will protest the UIGEA by playing online poker at one or more of the top poker rooms on June 1st. Many US players are looking forward to playing poker on the day that the UIGEA is supposed to effectively ban all online poker deposits.
The US banking industry will be responsible for enforcing the UIGEA and they’ve already made remarks that it will be nearly impossible for US banks to monitor every financial transaction.
