Online Poker TV for Canadian Players

Canadian poker players will have a new source of poker entertainment in
the next few months when HeadsUp Entertainment International, a poker
entertainment company, launches CanadianPokerPlayer.tv.
Unfortunately, this poker channel won’t be available on television in
Canada, but the online poker channel is scheduled to launch soon
with over 20 hours of programming from some of Canada’s largest
poker tournaments. Some of the biggest names in the poker industry
will be featured on the channel. Some of the names include Gavin
Smith, Joe Hachem, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, and Huck Seed.
You’ll be able to tune into the Stampede Classic in Calgary, as
well as the Canadian Poker Championship. Also, vintage clips of
canadian poker tournaments will be shown on the channel as well.
888.com is the first online casino and poker room to sponsor the
new channel, and it will host a range of commercials and offers
that will be exclusive to viewers for the first few months after
the launch. Kelly Kellner, CEO of HeadsUp Entertainment, was
quoted as saying, “We believe we will see changes in the way
sponsors react to their customers and having the ability to reach
large scale audiences with on-the-spot promotions. I am excited
to be able to deliver a medium for innovation of content delivery.”
The new online poker channel is for Canadian poker players, but
they encourage all poker players to watch the canadian poker
tournaments, and check out their other online poker programs.
