Online Poker Group Shows Up At CPAC 2010

CPAC 2010 is where most conservative Republicans gather to express their opinions and
beliefs when it comes to conservative issues. It does not seem like the CPAC would be
somewhere that you’d find online gambling or any company that supports online gambling.

Poker Players Alliance (PPA), an organization that defends poker rights had
cosponsored the Conservative Political Action Conference this year. Poker players
are reaching out to conservatives in an effort to protect the online poker industry
from angry politicians that are doing whatever they can to destroy the industry.

As a shock to some, many of the attendees of CPAC were supportive of the PPA’s agenda
and believe that Americans should have the right to play poker. The PPA was prepared for
this years CPAC and provided literature to point why conservatives should support the
poker industry. Poker professional, Greg Raymer was also there to sign autographs.
