Online Gambling Goliath: Party Gaming & Bwin

Party Gaming and Bwin, two online gambling giants, are currently locked in discussions over the signing of a £2 million merger that would make them the largest online casino group in the world, and could change the face of the gambling industry.


Party Gaming has been operating with unstable feet in recent years with the pull out of the U.S. market, the legal proceedings, and the payment of $105 million to the U.S. DOJ. Over the years, the share prices have dropped dramatically but now that Party Gaming has settled all of the legal disputes, they are free to enter into new partnerships and regain the standing that they once had in the gambling industry.


If these two online gambling giants join hands, then they will definately be a force to reckon with in 2010, and especially if the U.S. decides to regulate online gambling.
