Online Casinos Tighten Their Advertising Budgets

Online casinos continue to tighten their advertising budgets as the UIGEA goes into affect within the United States and other countries begin to restrict online gambling to only those operators that have purchased a license within their jurisdiction. In the past, casinos would throw away money on different opportunities in order to bring in new players to their casinos.

Now it seems that the online casinos need absolute certainty on the return of their investment before they’ll put down money on new advertising ventures or other marketing opportunities. With online casinos raking in millions of dollars every month, you would think that these same casinos would have a huge advertising budget but it looks like things are changing.

We are getting to the point where their are just too many online casinos to choose from, and that lowers the profits for each operator. With the profits continuing to drop due to the increased competition, the players and advertisers are those that suffer, because the casinos cut their costs, ad expenditures, and the free perks that they give out to players.
