Online Betting: ESPN’s Jay Mariotti Released From Jail

ESPN personality, Jay Mariotti was released from jail today after posting $50,000 bond. Only hours before, he was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic assault. Mariotti, 51, was arrested early Saturday morning following an argument with his girlfriend. Mariotti alledgedly pushed and shoved his girlfriend after returning home from visiting a club in Santa Monica.

Jay Mariotti is a well-known sports commentator for ESPN and he also writes for a sports web site called Fanhouse.com. Anyone that places a sports bet over the Internet has most likely heard of him. He is known for his outspoken views criticizing athletes for their actions on of the field.
