New Jersey USA May Legalize Online Casino Gambling

The US is one of the most awkward countries for online gambling right now. The
federal government continues to threaten prosecution of online gaming companies,
when their is clearly no legal statute that makes online gambling illegal.

On the other hand, local governments are feeling the affects of the financial
crisis and they are beginning to see the opportunity when it comes to legalized
online gambling. New Jersey is crafting legislation to make online gambling
legal and they may end up being the first state in the union to offer it.

While California and Pennsylvania are moving forward on plans to legalize
online gambling, it looks like New Jersey may be the first to pass a bill
that favors online gambling by US citizens. This has been a rather slow
process because each state is looking to see what the others are doing,
and once a state legalizes online gambling, one can expect that many
of the other states with financial problems will soon follow suit.
