Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) is telling Las Vegas casinos not to get involved with online gambling until state or federal legislation is passed that makes online gambling a legal activity. The NGCB has issued this warning because it is rumored that many of the Las Vegas casino giants are already aligning with online casino operators to make a smooth transition into the online gambling industry once the US Congress decides to license and regulate the industry.
Harrah’s Casino has already developed its own online gambling branch, and they own an online casino that accepts bets from players outside of the United States. Relationships between the Las Vegas casinos and online operators are being investigated by the Nevada regulators.
It is rumored that 888.com is working with Harrah’s and they are even providing the software for Harrah’s online casino that accepts players from countries where online gambling is clearly legal.
