Argentina, like many countries throughout the world, is struggling in this financial crisis. Unlike the U.S. or United Kingdom, the Argentinian government is strapped for cash, and they are struggling to find a way to bring in more revenue to pay for all of the essential government services that are needed.



Cabinet Chief, Anibal Fernandez recently stated that the Argentinian government will soon introduce legislation to legalize and regulate online casino gambling throughout the country. The amazing part of this story is that less than a year ago, the government stated that they would jail any person that violates the online gambling ban. It really makes you wonder how these politicians got elected.



As of today, all forms of online gambling are illegal in Argentina but the government really needs money and they are willing to look past all of their past complaints about the industry in the name of greed.
