Cake Poker Network Loses Multiple Online Poker Clients

The Cake Poker Network has been experiencing a downswing in terms of online poker revenue,
because many of their clients have been switching over to the Merge Gaming Network. One of
their most popular clients is Doyle’s Room which continues to use their poker software.

The Merge Gaming Network has been around for quite some time. Their flagship brand is
Carbon Poker, and they’ve also used the Poker.com domain to promote their poker brand.
While the network is relatively small compared to some of the others, the addition of
more online poker rooms will definitely increase the number of online players within
their poker network and give them a better footing in the online poker industry.

Just recently, Lock Poker debuted using the Merge Gaming Network software and Sportsbook.com
has switched over to the poker platform. The Cake Poker Network continues to bring in new
poker players, but they need to entice existing poker rooms to become a part of their network.

While some of their clients leave for other poker networks, the Cake Poker Network will be
launching a new poker room. Unabomber Poker. This new poker room will feature Phil Laak, a
professional poker player that always wears a hooded sweatshirt to live poker tournaments.
