Bwin Looks To Re-Enter US Online Gambling Market

Bwin is one of the top online gambling operators in Europe, and they are
looking to expand their operations into South America and even the US. They
are planning a presence within as many as four South American countries
over the next 2 years, and within the United States by the end of 2011.

Bwin has acknowledged that positive change must take place in the United
States before they will re-enter the US market, but they are confident
that the United States will regulate the online gambling industry and
they will be able to re-enter the market by the end of 2011 at the latest.

Bwin has also made it known that they have received offers to purchase their
OnGame online poker subsidiary that they initially purchased for slightly
less than 500 million euros in 2006 right before the passage of the UIGEA.
